The Development Process is broken down into several phases. These consist of:

Initial System Analysis -

We sit down with you and your staff to get an overview of the tasks necessary to develop the application. We decide on the time frame that is most convenient and feasible for the task at hand.

Initial Quote -

After careful consideration of all the variables at hand and the time restraints, we give you a rough draft of a quote outlining the phases of the project and a general price for development.

Contract Negotiations -

Once we agree on a price for the project, a contract is drawn up defining Data Magic's objectives and responsibilities for developing the application.

Detailed System Analysis -

After signing the contract, we will begin the system analysis on the project. This time will be spent investigating the current system to find it's strong qualities and determine areas needing the most improvement.

Detailed Quote -

Occasionally, during system analysis we find areas in the project that we did not anticipate or quote for in the "Initial Quote". In this stage, we address those issues and finalize the original quote.

Development -

Our trained staff of developers will begin the implementation of the plan agreed upon. During this phase, a means of converting data from the old system will also be developed. Close communication with a NHA representative will be necessary.

Installation -

After thoroughly testing the system, we will install a copy of the database on-site. We encourage you to begin to enter real data into the system and to take part in the debugging process.

System Support -

This includes the final stage of the debugging process and is an essential element to the development process. Our developers will spend their time tweaking the database. We will be there for you in the future if any enhancements are necessary.
